The Frankfort High School Robotics
Team #2245 is finalizing construction of their 2009 robot to
compete in the annual FIRST Robotics Competition. This years’
competition uses low traction wheels and surfaces to simulate
the 1/6 gravity of the moon. The robot is being built by
Frankfort High School students working alongside community
volunteers.
This years’ district competition
will begin in Traverse City on February 27 and 28. A second
district competition will be held at Grand Valley State
University on March 27 and 28.
